Thomas Tuchel is on the verge of announcing his England squad as the Three Lions gear up for a challenge at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. Entering the tournament as one of the strong favorites, Tuchel aims to end a 60-year drought for silverware since the 1966 World Cup. The squad will consist of 26 players who will travel to the United States next month. England has been drawn into Group L, facing Croatia, Ghana, and Panama. The campaign kicks off with a match against Luka Modric's Croatia on 17 June in Arlington, Texas. Following that, England will play: Ghana on 23 June in Boston Panama on 27 June in New York These matches will be crucial as England seeks to advance to the last 32 in this expanded 48-team tournament.
