Wyndham Clark Triumphs with Historic 30 Under to Claim CJ Cup Byron Nelson Title

Wyndham Clark delivered a spectacular performance at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, carding an 11-under par final round of 60 to secure victory by three shots, finishing at 30 under par. This remarkable achievement places him among an elite group, becoming just the 10th man to complete a four-round tournament at 30 under or better since 1983. In a thrilling finale, Clark, who previously recorded rounds of 66, 63, and 65, showcased his skills with an eagle and nine birdies, ultimately overtaking overnight leader Si Woo Kim. The 32-year-old's precision was evident as his approach shot on the 18th left him with a manageable two-and-a-half foot putt, which he confidently sank to clinch his fourth title on the PGA Tour with a total score of 254. Si Woo Kim, who had also impressed with a 60 on Friday, fell short in the final round, finishing with a 65 and settling for second place at 27 under. Meanwhile, world number one and defending champion Scottie Scheffler finished in third, just two shots behind. Clark, the reigning 2023 US Open champion, added this victory to his resume, having last won on the PGA Tour in February 2024 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
